Purpose

The purpose of this paper is to record the history of NT Superules and to outline the Direction and strategies the NT Superules Committee plan to put in place to promote and guarantee the continuing participation of those beyond the age of 35 in Australian Football in the Northern Territory.

Background

The National Superules Board, in the year 2000, provided the NT with funds to assist in planning for the future requirements of the game at Masters Level in the Northern Territory.

As part of this process the NT President invited the National President to a committee meeting to discuss, and advise on, the process and method to produce such a Planning Paper so as to meet the guidelines of the National Board.
