Carnival Director's Message for 1992 Carnival

Welcome to Queensland.

Welcome to our fabulous Gold Coast.

Welcome to what we believe is the largest National Football Carnival to be held in Australia - the 10th National Superules Carnival. For this achievement, each and everyone attending should be justifiably proud.

Whether you are a player, umpire, official, spectator, or wives and children you all help to make a Carnival successful. For that, all of us Queenslanders thank you and we hope the effort we have put into this Carnival makes it a great and rewarding event.

We hope too, you leave after the week, with big smiles on your faces and fond memories of our Gold Coast.

On the football side, not all teams can be winners, but the winners can't be winners without losers! So win, lose or draw, we hope you all play to enjoy the game. Remembering the motto, "FOOTBALL-FOR-FUN".

We have a large panel of umpires this year and whilst not all decisions will go your way, respect the "Man-in-white" and remember we can't play football without umpires.

Above all, enjoy yourselves throughout the Carnival, look around at our great South East Queensland area and have a rewarding and injury-free Carnival.
